SQL database developers are required by my client who sits within a prestigious investment bank based in London. They are looking for a SQL developers who have a strong backgrounds within the full BI stack of SSAS, SSIS and SSRS coupled with strong investment banking experience.The reason why my client requires a strong SQL database developer is because they are growing their team to handle more work that they have been given by the business. You will be at the forefront of the regulatory technology space in database development and will be facing off to the business to improve the way they can provide unique reports to regulators, risk managers, traders and product control.
This team is looking to expand due to the investment in this area from the business which is down to the approach they take on being able to deliver cutting edge technology to different business areas for their demanding client base rapidly. The role needs a strong SQL database developer who has the ability to develop strong T-SQL code along with sound knowledge and experience of the business intelligence stack in SQL.
This role will require you to build out the new SQL database system as well as liaise with different areas of the business on a daily basis.
This is a contract role with market rates.
Essential Skills for this role:
- Strong SQL database development experience
- Solid T-SQL development skills
- Experience across the Full BI stack
- SQL 2008 and creation of SSIS packages
- Experience within investment banking is essential
