Our client, a small and growing healthcare tech company with a track record of hiring the best a brightest is seeking a sharp mid-level Linux systems administrator to work closely on the Java application side. In this role (contract to hire or direct-hire), you will be responsible for assisting with installations, configurations, and maintenance of a Red Hat Linux environment with a specific focus on troubleshooting and deconstructing open-source applications at the code-level. You do not need to know how to write Java code, but being able to read and understand how to deconstruct is important. You will also assist with system monitoring and other DevOps related responsibilities. As you become familiar with the systems and business, you will assist with Hadoop system integration!

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 2-4 Years of Red Hat Linux Systems Administration.
- 1-3 Years of Java/open-source application support/administration.
- JBoss/Tomcat/Apache Web
- Mirth
- System Monitoring (Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, etc).
- Bind or LDAP.
- Familiar with Agile Development/DevOps engineering practices.
