Senior Mobile Data Service Engineer
Our client a leading Telecoms Carrier based in Belgium are searching for a Senior Mobile Data Service Engineer to design and implement standard to complex Mobile Data solutions meeting customer demands and implement IP network solutions that enable the rollout of the a new Mobile Data Products/Services. As the Senior Mobile Data Service Engineer you will act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all mobile data products and services, including GRX, GPRS, MMS, SMS, Signaling. In depth data network design and engineering knowledge is required for this position.
Essential Skills/Knowledge:
- You have a master degree in electronics, informatics or telecommunication, or relevant work experience in a mobile service provider environment.
- You have a Global view on the mobile data world ( MNO, MVNO )
- You have very strong SS7, MAP and core network systems knowledge.
- You have very strong technical competence on mobile data products like : SMS,MMS, GRX/GPRS
- Experience with Cisco Routers/Switches (2900 series and ME3400) platforms highly desired.
- Experience and knowledge of OSI L3 IP routing protocols - BGP, IGP (ISIS)
- You have knowledge and experience with Siemens STPs..
- You have familiarity with GSM Association roaming related documents and working groups.
- You are excellent Team player and flexible.
- You have good analytical and communications skills.
- You have strong customer services orientation and interpersonal skills.
- You are Fluent in English; any other language skills would be a definite advantage.
- Multi vendors experience is a plus
