C#/SQL Server Developer - Contract Opportunities - Daily Rates - Cork City
My client based in Cork city is currently looking to hire a number of C#/SQL Server developers on a contract basis.
These are excellent opportunities to join a well-known company who are currently expanding their development teams.
This project is an exciting and demanding opportunity to use an up-to-the-minute blend of C# .NET 4.0, MVC 3, WCF, JQuery, Knockout.js, for client-side data binding, with NCache or AppFabric for distributed session state and caching. Source control and continuous integration is to be provided by TFS 2010 with unit tests constructed for VSTS (MSTest) and the latest flavour of Rhino Mocks. Real Time Code analysis and refactor support is also supplied via ReSharper 6.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements analysis & Application Design
- Providing accurate estimates and timings to project managers
- Delivery of application developments using standard web development methodologies
- Mentoring other developers within a project team
- Ensuring all QA procedures are satisfied in terms of process and documentation.
Technical Profile:
- Minimum of 3-4 years commercial development experience in C# and ASP.NET
- Some commercial development with SOA and related technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET
- Knowledge of JQuery
- Good level of experience of XML/XSLT and XML Schema.
- Knowledge of C#, Web Services, ADO.NET, Custom control development and SQL Server.
- AJAX, JSON and custom Javascript development
- Strong T-SQL (Stored Procedure) skills.
- LINQ
- Experience with .NET 3.x (WCF, WF) is a plus
- Experience of using VB 6.0, COM+, ASP and C++
