Description
A contracted mechanical design engineering opportunity is being offered to work on a 12 month project using 2D/3D software for special purpose equipment equipment.
Design engineers who are proficient in using Solidworks and AutoCAD software will be preferred for this role, experience in designing for manufacture of one off components, knowledge of manufacturing processes, value engineering, geometric tolerances and ISO standards would also be highly desirable.
In return not only does this position offer the successful candidate a long term contract but also the opportunity to work on a very niche and highly interesting project.
Proven experience in mechanical design using 2D and 3D design software will be essential to be considered for the role as would a minimum academic qualification of an ONC or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
