Description
Systems Engineer required to work on a customer site and perform the below tasks:
Provide support to the Sensors & Communications team in delivering an Assessment Phase contract.
Develop and mature requirements baselines for sub-system equipments, capturing rationale and ensuring requirements traceability.
Interact within a multi-discipline team at a national and international level.
Develop system concepts and assessments of candidate solutions.
Involved in full life cycle of systems development including potential participation in trials and subsequent analysis of results.
The successful candidate will have the below skills:
Ability to work within and influence a multi-discipline team in order to realise the design of a product.
Systems Engineering with good understanding of requirements and architecture (land background would be beneficial).
Adaptable - capable of focussing on both the UK and clients export needs.
Ability to communicate effectively at high level with systems engineer as well as in detail with technologists.
Working knowledge of DOORS and Rhapsody essential (linking DOORS with Rhapsody).
Candidates must be willing to undergo a security vetting procedure.
