Required Skill Set: ECAD (PCB Design, Schematics Entry) Tool support, Scripting for automation of ECAD processes
Desired Experience Range: 6-8 years
Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role:
- Help desk/Service desk, Level 1 and Level 2 support of PCBA design flow (Functional and Application support), E-Layout design flow and Component Engineering design flow
- Development of automation for process enhancement in PCBA, E-Layout and Component Engineering design flows
- Application Maintenance for the above design flows
- Training Design engineers on the process flow
Desired Candidate Profile:
Must Have
Detailed hands-on experience with the following tools: Mentor Graphics Expedition 2007.9, DxDesigner, DxDataBook, CES (Constraints Editor), Hyperlynx, Library Manager, ViewData
Experience with the following languages: Scripting: Shell, VB, C, C++, PERL, Java
Good fundamentals in High-speed PCB design, DFM/DFT analysis, Signal Integrity analysis, Board Thermal analysis
Work experience in Linux platform
Good-to-Have
Expertise with Data interchange between ECAD and MCAD tools
Experience with using ICX
Experience with using Valor tool
Experience with interface between Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition and Team Center or other PLM tools
Experience with Cable harness designs, sensor and actuator cable designs.
