We need a top-notch thinker who can help us shape and develop an intuitive digital content service.
This is a start up business, so flexibility and adaptability are key. You’ll need to be a flexible thinker with a huge dose of pragmatism. You will be working collaboratively within the start up business alongside other developers front and back end, designers and a small marketing and operations team.
You will work with the team to shape and build a digital service from our existing prototype to a pioneering premium service - turning customer insight and business requirements into a valuable, cross platform digital service that will attract hundreds of thousands of paying subscribers, globally.

We are a start-up with VC backing to create an amazing and cutting edge global digital service. We’re working in studios and labs in Shoreditch in London, alongside some very talented down to earth people. The team is brilliant, the culture is irreverent, open and hard working. You’ll have the chance to shape a service from the very start and be responsible for it’s success.
Knowledge and skills:
- HTML/HTML5
- CSS / CSS3
- Ruby on Rails (3yrs+)
- jQuery
- TDD / BDD testing approaches
- Continuous deployment / Integration
- Asynchronous processing, multi-threading / multi-process management
- Distributed data stores (Cassandra / Riak or similar)
- REST API’s
Salary:
Market rates dependent on experience
