Description
Responsibilities:- Monitor the daily operations and production volumes
- Implement a well testing program in the field
- Perform production troubleshooting and artificial lift analysis on producing wells
- Perform well reviews and identify workover candidates, AFE's, and budget requirements
- Conduct production optimization of wells (including capillary string, gas lift, rod pump, jet pump, etc.)
- Coordinate activities and resolution of problems that affect engineering projects with land, reservoir, drilling, field operations, and accounting to ensure efficiency
- Provide engineering supervision for workover and completion operations
Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
- B.S. in Engineering (preferably Petroleum or related discipline)
- Minimum 5 years of Production or Operations Engineering experience
- Experience in one of the following areas is preferred: Bakken, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Permian, Barnett, and/or Marcellus
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Great communication and presentation skills
- Operator experience is highly preferred
