Description
Finite Canberra has a Government client seeking a Web Developer.
This is a contract opportunity beginning ASAP to 30 June 2014.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in useability work related to projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with and understanding of client-facing Web-based transaction systems
- Experience with and understanding of complex mixed-platform ICT environments
Expected Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in user centred design work
- 2+ years in relevant development tools and methodologies. Preference for candidates with excellent skills in HTML/CSS
- Strong knowledge and experience in the field of usability
- An excellent sense of visual-design combined with a desire to learn from (and extend) current design trends
- Experience in working on multiple projects at any one time
- Proven track record of delivering tasks for projects in a timely manner
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
