Marketing Executive/Marketing Manager, Event Planning

POSITION: Marketing Executive
REPORTS TO: Managing Director/CEO

Primary Responsibility
Generating sufficient quality leads to achieve budgeted sales and revenue targets for individual events/products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute the marketing plan for individual events/products based upon the agreed strategy for each (ie document the agreed activities/timings/expected enquiries/ sales etc).
2. Generate the required number of leads/sales for each event in order to achieve the budgeted sales revenue
3. Measuring effectiveness of campaigns and optimising to drive sales and database growth while maximising ROI
4. Record, analyse and report on all marketing activities such as cost per enquiry, cost per order and cost per sale for each event and product.
5. Manage the marketing budget in line with agreed KPI's
6. Manage the design and production of all marketing collateral with internal and external teams to ensure all projects/campaigns are delivered in a timely manner and according to the brief.
7. Liaise with media owners and negotiate best prices
8. Establish and manage third party relationships and joint ventures
9. Establish and manage sponsorship opportunities
10. Identify and target new business/lead opportunities to generate incremental sales, by adding to those generated by the main marketing campaigns.
11. Liaise with third party suppliers/agencies to ensure best prices and practices
12. Manage the internal communications of the Marketing Dept eg marketing briefings to sales and administration teams.

Skills required

Strong and Proven experience in managing and optimising marketing activities in the on-line environment (ie Database E- marketing, on-line lead generation)
Sound knowledge of on-line media including analytics
Sound decision making skills
Logical and questioning approach to decision making
Self motivated team player
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritise
Experience in working in a busy marketing department/team
Degree qualified in Marketing Communications/Business
