(Plastic Injection Moulding Machinery Experience)
20-25p/h Ltd + Overtime
12 Month Contract, Start by 5th August

The Company

A global manufacturer of plastic components with over 13000 employees in Europe and a turnover of over $1.5 Billion worldwide. With a client base including Jaguar Land Rover and BMW and having already spent 1.5 million in the UK on new machinery, they have now purchased 40 new injection moulding machines and are embarking on a major project to transfer these from their current location to the manufacturer's site. With key personnel being seconded onto this project, there is an urgent need for 2 highly skilled electrical maintenance engineers to backfill their roles. The Role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer

- Working on a double day shift (6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm).
- Breakdown/reactive maintenance with small amounts of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Electrical fault find and repair on sensors, issues with controls and wiring faults on tools.
- Identifying faults on PLCs by plugging in a laptop to fault find.
- A small amount of mechanical maintenance such as changing bearings. This is not an essential skill.
- Machines involved will be Injection moulding machines from 25 tonnes and up to 850 tonnes.
- If capable then the ability to fault find on robotic faults and programs would be a major advantage. Again this is not an essential skill.

The Skills of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

- Electrically biased with a formal electrical qualification.
- Able to fault find on PLCs by logging in with a laptop.
- At least 12 months experience working on any type of plastic injection moulding machinery. Backgrounds could include medical devices, automotive and general manufacturing.
