My client is looking for a Service Manager who will be responsible for all areas of service management including strategy, technology, utilising resources and governance.

This is a fixed term engagement for 12 months, based in Sydney's CBD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service design, transition and operations in order to support all dependent projects. You will be coordinating with multiple vendors and ensuring the continuous delivery of services by the business.

In order to be successful in the role you will require a strong ITIL background as well as being able to understand new methods of working. You will need strong leadership skills in order to manage the team and ensure a high level of service at all times.

Required skills:

  • A strong background in Service Management (10 years+) in large scale environments.
  • Strong experience in managing or leading a team to ensure successful delivery.
  • Prince2/PMBOK
  • ITIL implementation experience
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Ideally you will have worked in Blue Chip or Government organsiations in the past.
