*Risk and Compliance Engineer*
Rate: £300 per day
Location: Nottingham Newstead
Duration: 12 months
MUST BE NEBOSH CERTIFIED
MUST HAVE BROAD ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE WITHIN A POWER STATION
Responsibilities of The Risk and Compliance Engineer:
-Assisting with the development and delivery of systems and strategy to ensure the highest levels of engineering risk management are achieved
-Development & improvement of process safety
-Reviewing and developing the systems required to ensure that compliance activities are integrated with the operational activities of a major power station.
Key Activities of The Risk and Compliance Engineer:
-Providing support to, and influencing all areas of engineering and management to ensure compliance with best practise engineering risk management
-Review and develop monitoring and reporting systems for effective process safety management, in the role of Site process safety lead
-Lead the Engineering Risk process, ensuring all risks are captured and scored, supporting documentation provided, and commitment plans monitored
-Ensure Operational Incident reporting is transparent and thorough, supporting other teams on site and monitoring the operational incident reporting interface
-Provide support and governance for the Site modification process
-Develop and deliver plans to ensure that responsibilities for, and compliance with, standards can be demonstrated across the site, ensuring that the integrated audit plan is managed to deliver learnings whilst limiting the impact to operational activities
-Ensure key management information and reports are delivered to agreed timescales
-Ensuring technical report requirements are tracked, addressed, and integrated into the day to day operation of the Station
-Monitor, review and develop systems to ensure compliance with statutory engineering requirements
