The Company
Robert Half Management Resources are currently recruiting for an Interim Head of Primary Servicing and Investments for a Financial Services organisation based in South Wales. This position is a short-term care-taker assignment until the permanent replacement starts in the post on 1st November 2013. This role will be based in Newport, South Wales.
The Role
The Head of Primary Servicing and Investments will be responsible to lead and manage the primary servicing and investment operation on behalf of the company's servicing clients in line with agreed Service levels ensuring high level of performance whilst continuously developing the area to maximise efficiencies whilst adhering to appropriate financial regulations.
To actively contribute to the development of the operational strategy for the company and the delivery of the P&L.
Ensure that appropriate management information is available and analysed to monitor operational effectiveness and achievement against business plans and goals.
To develop effective client relationship with clients when required, ensuring that a cost effective service is provided to our lending and investment clients.
Provide leadership and direction within the Primary Servicing and Investment areas and contribute to the overall leadership of Servicing Operations at Newport.
To deputise for the Group COO in his absence if required, ensuring the Newport and facility achieves and maintains operational effectiveness.
To develop effective client relationship with clients when required, ensuring that a cost effective service is provided to our lending and investment clients.
To support prospecting activity and act as a subject matter expert on the implementation of new operational services as required.
The Person
Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline.
Significant demonstrable Senior Operational Management in a Financial Services or related servicing organisation.
Proven track record in managing Customer Service and Complaints functions.
Capable of being authorised by the FCA as an Approved Person.
Proven experience of managing managers successfully.
Experience in managing budgets and cost centres.
First Mortgage or secured lending operational experience is essential.
A confident and professional communicator, able to communicate with confidence and influence effectively at all levels.
Experience in facilitating workshops.
