This is an opportunity to work with a world renowned technology company!We are holding Trade Tests at Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology throughout August, based in Bristol.
We are looking to recruit for the following contract positions.
The Electrical Fitter will be wiring and building low volume and high value special purpose machinery. You will be required to work from Engineering drawings and you will be able to utilise your wiring skills on this project. The successful Electrical Fitter will have a very high standard of soldering (the soldering that is carried out is all lead free).The Electrical Fitters must come from a production manufacturing environment and should have the following attribute skills:
Loom and harness wiring, prototype wiring, panel wiring, machine wiring, soldering on connectors and lead free soldering, cable assembly, IPC-A-620 Cable Assembly and electro/mechanical assembly background
The Electrical Fitters will have either be apprentice trained or have formal qualifications within the Electrical Field. The right candidate for this role must hold either of the following qualifications: 16th/17th Edition, NVQ, HNC or HND in Electrical qualifications.
The candidate will need to have a good knowledge of Electrical theory, as well as excellent practical wiring skills and crimping skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with the above skills to work at one of the UK's most successful and dynamic Engineering companies.
For your benefit a member of the Mane Engineering team will be on site at the start of each week to answer any questions that you may have about your contract and provide assistance. There is car parking on site and you will benefit from working in a clean and professional environment. There are also rest room facilities available. The company is located five minutes from a local Bristol train station.
