SAP BW CONSULTANT - MILTON KEYNES - £50,000-£60,000 Plus benefits

One of our major customers is currently looking to expand the SAP BW team and is looking for a SAP BW consultant to join them.

The SAP Solution Specialist delivers Project Capabilities & Software Support Services within the SAP applications. They identify & deliver new services to extend or broaden our reach into the client's infrastructure. They support and develop the SAP applications in line with client requirements whilst adhering to ITIL methodology.

Key Responsibilities/Outcomes:

Project / Change Development

* Responsibility for aligning SAP BW solutions with business strategy

* Responsibility for system configuration / developments within the specialist area

* Will work on billable engagements as required to meet current client requirements

* Works with clients to define requirements for enhancement requests

* Reviews applicable 3rd Party products and activities

* Provides training plans and needs for a Client Support Team

* Acts as Project Lead for larger application developments

* Part of Project team for Upgrades, Support Stacks and large cross modular projects/enhancements

* Business Development

* Identifies new service opportunities and ensures that they are effectively progressed

* Participate in the selling and promotion of additional services to the client

* Identifies, documents and estimates (costs/revenue) opportunities for add-on services

Service Delivery

* Point of contact for specialist area

* Client liaison for related queries

* Accountability for critical fixes

* Accountability for enhancement identification, requirements gathering, design, configuration & development and delivery to the client

* Providing support and mentoring to resolve problems escalated from lower-levels of expertise

* Responsibility for implementing & overseeing post-sales support of applications for internal and external customers

* Is familiar with the products being supported and is recognized as a Subject Matter Expert within their area of expertise

* Responsible for investigating / resolving complex solutions using external tools / resource where required to bridge knowledge gaps

* Have knowledge of competitor's products and are up to date with releases from existing suppliers

* Responds to incidents and problems in a timely and accurate manner and ensures that Service Level Agreements are met

* Accountable for all queries regarding the configuration and customization within their areas of expertise

* Identifies internal and external / client product, documentation and process deficiencies and makes suggestions for improvement

* Ensures high levels of client satisfaction for the products/solutions supported

* Works to reduce repeat incidents by implementing changes to the systems or processes

* Applies best practices and promoting continuous process improvement

* Manage the design and implementation of processes and process improvements

* Liaises with 3rd parties on issue resolution as required
