This company work for many clients across both the public and private sector, excelling at complex building services projects, to make some incredible buildings.They are currently looking for contractors in their Aberdeen and Dundee offices to work alongside certain key members of their perm team. The role will include the design development of all electrical engineering disciplines, undertaking investigations and research.The successful candidate will have experience in construction and building services electrical design engineering through out the UK. There may be some requirement to travel throughout the UK and there is certain to be a requirement to travel between the Glasgow and Dundee offices.Key Skills:
- Varied experience across the electrical engineering disciplines, with core knowledge of key standards and principles.
- Experience across different sectors in the UK (particular experience in Healthcare is desirable)
- Lateral thinking
- Proven experience working in coordination with other design team members and delivery of solutions
- Desirable to have experience in various types of electrical engineering condition Surveys and building services problem solving
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken are essential
- Knowledge of AutoCad MEP/Autodesk Revit MEP is desirable
- Experience in the use of Amtech and/or Hevacomp and Dialux/Relux is desirable
- Have a core understanding of relevant standards including IET Wiring Regulations, SHTM/HTM, CIBSE, BSRIA, IET, British Standards etc
