Computer Futures are currently looking for a Senior Security Infrastructure Engineer to work for a large client based in Worcester. You will lead a team of technicians delivering projects and managing all aspects of a Technical Security function within Infrastructure Services.

Key Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of several authentication and authorisation mechanisms.

  • Experience with centrally manageable endpoint security products to include anti-virus, application control, and device control is crucial.

  • Experience with hardware and software encryption techniques to include whole disk, file based, and transport based would be beneficial.

  • A Deep understanding of network security and be able to manage and maintain several firewalls deployed in a highly-available configuration, and familiarity with application delivery controllers to include load balancing, encryption offload and application firewalling would be highly desirable.

  • Portal and tunnel based remote access technology

  • Email and web security and hygiene systems to include data loss prevention would be beneficial.


The successful candidate will report to an Infrastructure Technology Manager and other senior positions within the team. From time to time you will need to supervise third party contractors as well as manage day to day Infrastructure Security related activities within the group. A sound practical and technical background with the ability to lead and work within a team is essential.

This role is paying up to £45,000.
