Description
I am looking for an experienced Environment Engineer to join a top investment bank based inLondon. The role will require you to come on board and help them with a new project within their business.The candidate will be working within a project to work on the following items:
Infrastructure - Working with infrastructure teams, specify and onboard underlying servers and storage.
Design and implement security groups across environments
Design and implement best in class automated software deployment tools and processes
Working closely with Oracle and Microsoft DBA identify and implement fast, robust test DB restore processes
Requirements for the role:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Infrastructure/Environment related activities.
Good understanding of IB environment is a plus
Understanding of structure of Oracle DB instances - including objects on schema and
Ability to write scripts in one of ksh, perl, bsh or python.
Understanding the structure and command line of Windows server and Linux operating systems
The right candidate will have proven experience performing these actions at a high level whilst working within an investment banking/ asset management background.
