Beacon Hill Technologies is working with a local and direct client to staff a Front End Web Developer on a long-term, 12-month contract.
The skill set my client is looking for would be a web standards Front End developer to handle the maintenance of existing sites as well as code new small projects from the ground up. You'll need to be an independent worker looking to be an active member of a small team.
You must be very strong at:
Writing accessible, semantic, clean XHTML markup.
Styling it with light, intelligent CSS to consistent effect across IE7, IE8, and all modern browsers.
Making it sing with professional, gracefully degrading JavaScript (meaning you can do a lot more than implement a jQuery plugin).
Skills in Photoshop/Fireworks and experience with the Oracle UCM content management platform are a plus.
