Mainframe WebSphere Application Server Administration Consultant
I am currently looking for a team of Mainframe WebSphere Application Server Administration Consultants to work on a 12 month extendable contract for a market leading client of mine in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Requirements:
- MVS-Systems Programmer z/OS system programmer with min 2 years of experience.
- Should have sound knowledge of SMP/E, JCLs, MVS concepts, JES, SDSF, Catalog Management etc. and knowledge of installing and supporting few commonly used ISV products.
- Install and configure WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server (IHS)
- Use WebSphere Application Server administrative tools to configure and manage enterprise applications
- Configure security for Server Side application resources
- Deploy applications in clustered environments
- Knowledge of problem determination tools and log files to troubleshoot problems
- Install WebSphere Application Server executables and profiles
- Install and configure an enterprise application in z/OS using SMP/e
- Manage WebSphere Application Serve using wsadmin
- Knowledge of WebSphere security on z/OS
- Understand Sockets Layer (SSL) for the WebSphere Application Server
- Knowledge of the WebSphere Edge Components
- Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server's performance monitoring and tuning technologies and tools
- Understand WebSphere Workload Manager (WLM), failover, and HA Manager
