About the job:

We are looking for a Tier I Desktop Support Technician who has hands-on experience supporting, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware and peripherals. 

In this position you will:

  • Provides hands-on Hardware and Software support
  • Resolve technical calls and tickets, and escalate problems as needed
  • Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software systems
  • Provide true customer service oriented Desktop support

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Desktop or Desk side support role
  • A+ Certification highly preferred
  • MUST have RECENT experience with Windows XP & 7, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • MAC experience is always a plus
  • Strong communication, organization and planning, work ethic, client facing and interpersonal skills.

There will be times where this person will need to translate technical terms into non-technical language.
