Our client are one of Australia’s leading experiential & digital marketing agencies. They work with the latest in digital technologies as well as delivering traditional digital solutions.
They are now expanding their internal digital team, looking for an experienced, fresh front-end developer with 4-5 years experience working in digital agencies, crafting front end / back end interfaces.
The Role:
In order to be successful in this role you must have the following skills
- Commercial web development experience (at least 5 years)
- Solid standard and object-oriented PHP programming knowledge
- Expert HTML and CSS skills
- Experience with JQuery, JavaScript and Ajax
- Understanding of Web services, XML and JSON
- MySQL database experience (as back-end for dynamic sites)
- Solid experience with Open Source CMSes other than WordPress (including theme creation and custom coding using frameworks - ideally Concrete5, SilverStripe or Drupal)
- Sound knowledge of eCommerce integration
- Understanding of feature-driven/test-driven development techniques, system integration and testing/deployment principles
Would be great if you had these too:
- Facebook campaigns and other social media integration
- Strong Understanding of APIs (Facebook, Twitter)
- Implementation of responsive designs
- Other programming languages
- Mobile application development, other than HTML5
- MS SQL Server & Windows
