Computer Futures are seeking a Senior QA Software Tester to work for a market leading client based in the Bath/Somerset area. You will be working in a successful IT Team and will have the opportunity to grow the entire test function. Please see job profile below: Basic Job Function: The successful candidate will work closely with the lead BA and development team managing the testing needs of the system. Working in an agile environment you will be responsible for implementing the testing process applied to desktop and web based testing of the various products developed by the global IT team. The global development team has aggressive plans for enhancing the existing system so the ideal candidate must thrive in a fast paced IT environment. You will be able to operate within a team and comfortable leading the development of the testing processes. Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Enhance the testing processes for the .NET WinForms, ASP .NET and Delphi systems 2. Assist in greatly increasing the automated testing coverage 3. Develop and maintain the web based testing processes 4. Operate as part of the agile development team 5. To develop a detailed knowledge of the core markets of the company Required Skills & Knowledge: 1. 5+ years experience with .NET (Desktop and ASP .NET) testing in an agile environment 2. 3+ years experience of writing automated .NET tests 3. Experience of testing Delphi systems a distinct advantage 4. Excellent test planning and documentation 5. Excellent communication skills 6. Experience working by yourself and as part of a team 7. Keen to develop your own careerThis position is paying up to £55,000 and comes with an excellent benefits package that includes Pension and Healthcare.
