Systems Support Analyst
1pm - 9:30pm shift: Mon - Fri

There is an immediate need for a Systems Support Analyst! This person will need to be someone who is very responsible and can work with little to no supervision. This is a 3 month contract to hire that will work the 2nd shift 1:00pm - 9:30pm Mon - Fri.
Required Skills:
- Associates Degree or higher - Bachelors preferred
- 3+ Yrs professional IT experience
- Strong Knowledge of Windows XP & 7, Windows Server 2000 and 2008, and MS Exchange 2007 & 2010
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office Products and Anti-Virus Products
- Excellent customer service and communications skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to diagnose or resolve issues in hardware applications and operating systems over the phone and email
- Familiarity of computer hardware and networks
Responsibilities
- Install new software releases and system upgrades
- Evaluate and install patches
- Resolve software, hardware, and network related problems to optimize overall performance
- Perform system backups and recoveries
- Maintain data files and monitor system configurations to ensure data integrity
- Answer, Evaluate, and Prioritize issues arising from voice mail, email, and service desk requests from users
- Work with users to collect information to determine source of error
- Work with MS Exchange and Active Directory to add, remove, and modify user credentials and/or group policies
- Monitor morning and/or night processes
- work with vendors to provide additional support for system applications and network equipment
- Escalate severe issues by following escalation process
