Job Title: Risk & HSEQ ManagerPurpose:
Responsible for the effective management of Operational, Project and Safety Risk
in order to develop/maintain a risk management culture aligned to the principles of ISO
31000, as well as leadership of the HSE, Quality and Company Document Control functions.
Key Deliverables:
*Promote, facilitate and implement risk management awareness, processes and
procedures for all company operational activities
*Act as a risk partner to the business, ensuring that practises are compliant with best
practice, aligned to company strategy and actively support organisational
performance
*Ensure effective communication throughout the company on all aspects of
operational risk management, including reporting and promotion of the discipline
wherever possible in order to facilitate a companywide risk management culture
*Ensure project risk management capitalises from Lessons Learned and is performed
in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and
integrity consistently
*Continuous identification of opportunities and solutions which will improve
management process and procedures to increase efficiency and performance
*Compliance and management of all appropriate legislation, including but not limited to;
oISO 9001 Quality Management System
oISO 14001 Environmental Management System
oOHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety management systems
*Overall responsibility for the effective leadership and strategic management of the
Quality, HSE and Company Document Control functions
*Effective management of the internal audit plan as well as conducting Internal audits
and Risk audits where appropriate
*Responsible for the effective line and performance management of all direct reports,
as well as their motivation and development
Qualifications & Experience
Required
*Proven experience in performing to a high standard in a similar role
*Diploma in Risk Management (or equivalent)
*Experience in an operational risk management role in the Oil & Gas industry
*Advanced knowledge of ISO 31000 risk management principles
*Experience of marine offshore environment
*Excellent leadership and management skills
*Experience in the management of HSE and Quality functions
*ISO Lead auditor
Ideal
*NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma
*NEBOSH Certificate in Oil & Gas
*Certificate/Diploma in Quality Management (or equivalent)
Required Personal Qualities
*Awareness of the commercial environment, with an understanding of how this role
impacts organisational performance
*Excellent influencing skills and highly articulate, with an ability to communicate
effectively with colleagues at all levels
*Proven ability to work within a cross-functional project centric environment with
diverse cultures
*Proactive with a desire and ability to identify and deliver new and creative ways of
working which are aligned to company strategy
*Ability to undertake travel nationally and/or internationally
