Description
Job Responsibilities:* Define requirements for design of various equipment for offshore production facilities.
* Prepare various studies associated with selection of equipment.
* Prepare specifications and datasheets for various equipment.
* Prepare general arrangement drawings for the platform.
* Size various equipment (vessels, pumps, compressors, utilities) as required.
* Prepare Piping and Instrument Diagrams as required to define the facility design.
* Coordinate drafting activities.
* Prepare technical documents for Request for Quotation packages.
* Prepare technical evaluations of supplier quotations.
* Review vendor drawings.
* Supervise engineers assigned to the project in the mechanical engineering group.
* Coordinate with drafting in preparation of piping drawings.
* Interface with other disciplines to minimize conflicts and errors.
