I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Power Systems Engineer to work on wind farm grid connections inNorthern Irelandon a 3 year contract.The role
The role would be working with the construction team, liaising with government departments and overseeing the third party contracts. You would be overseeing the commissioning team but the role is not a hands on role. You will be technically minded but it is not a pure engineering role, you will also be responsible for contract supply agreements and turbine supply agreements.
Duties also include:
- Supervising the commissioning team
- Working with the substation and cabling of the wind farm
- Managing external teams.
It is essential that you have:
- Drive
- A technical background
- Knowledge of power systems
- Infrastructure Knowledge
Ideally you will also have worked with regulators/DNOs
