Description
Computer Futures are looking for a Support Technician to join a key client based in Whiteley.You will be responsible for the delivery and support of internal and remote external services.
This is a hands on role and requires a range of IT skills covering core business hardware and applications to over 80 staff. You will mainly be liaising directly with other internal teams but some internal and external 3rd party supplier management will be required.
Key Skills:
* High level of experience in the installing and supporting of Windows 7.
* High level of experience in the installing and supporting of Microsoft Office .
* High level of experience of configuring and supporting Windows Server 2008.
* Experience of Active Directory 2008 domain and trusts administration and support.
* Experience with and preferably have managed, network cable patching and switch configuration.
* Experience of DHCP, DNS and Group Policy in a multi site environment.
* Experience of networking and administration in a Microsoft based hosting environment.
* Previous experience in a team based, customer facing environment.
* Experience of continuous IT operations in structured, demanding environments.
* Experience of administering or using Hyper-V, VMWare v4 or later
The salary for this role will be paying up to £35,000- £40,000
