Real Staffing are working with an NHS Acute Trust in the South East who require a hands-on Management Accountant to provide short-term support to their finance department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a developing Management Accountant looking to build on their experience within a successful NHS organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dealing with budget holder queries
- Variance analysis
- Preparing budgets and statements
- Budget monitoring and forecasting
- Processing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Monitoring and tracking CIP saving schemes
- Providing financial support to business cases
- Data manipulation and processing (Excel based)
- Adhering to the month end closedown calendar
- Ad-hoc assignments
The position will be covering both clinical and non-clinical directorates, providing assistance where needed to the senior management team and budget holders.
Key Skills:
- CCAB Part-Qualified
- NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
- Management Accountant
- Band 6
- Excel (pivot-tables, V-lookups, IF-functions)
Please Note:
Due to the nature of this post, it is essential that candidates have previous management accounting experience within an NHS Acute Trust or Foundation Trust.
