One of our clients, a multinational company in the pharmaceutical industry currently requires an Operational Excellence Expert
Start: 2/9
Length: 18 months with a possibility of being extended
Location: South of Brussels
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
* Drive and enhance Business Mindset, drive performance management in QC Business Unit
* Ensure Continued OE & transformation deployment
* Support QC objectives
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
* Identify, lead, support or mentor improvement opportunities in the QC
* Drive Performance Management With Process measures in place and inuse, define kpis, improve performance dashboards
* Increase productivity, ensure productivity measures in place/in use
* Ensure ROI for projects initiated
* Enhance cost control, reduce lead time and working capital
* Acts as OE expert, use and promote OE & ADP methodology and toolsto implement lean culture/transformation (Ex: visual management,shopfloor presence)
* Coordinate OE initiatives in the BU (Projects and Green Beltmentoring)
* Share Knowledge in and across the organization
* Communicate on successes and network with other OE champions/experts to exchange learning
* Coach and support improvement projects managers
* Ensure alignment with company objectives
* Ensure continuous improvements, remove barriers
* Drive Right First time mindset
* Drive customers oriented objectives
Education
* University Degree
* Ideally Black Belt certified (at least green belt with sound experience in supply chain/quality control)
Knowledge
* Good understanding of QC/Supply Chain processes/Manufacturing
* Mastering in OE principles/tools/methodologies/application
Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in operations in an industrial environment
* Experience in project management and change management
* Experience in process improvement
* Experience as trainer
* Accountable for delivering financial benefits
