Support Specialist (Memphis)
Overview:
This is an IT Support Specialist for a high profile Clothing/Shoe Manufacture located in the Memphis, TN area. This is a deskside tech position at an end client location. The manager needs someone who is absolutely skilled at hands-on deskside support NOT a help desk agent.
Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: Memphis, TN 38118
Duration: 1 month Contract (Possible Extension)
Shift: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm
Experience Level:
(Intermediate, 1 - 3 Years Experience). Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups. May require an associates degree in a related area or 1 - 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Hours worked will be 35-45 hours per week depending on business needs
Minimum 2 years experience working as a deskside technician
