Due to the continued success and growth of our customer base in the Southeast of England we require an additional Field Engineer to join our already established Field Engineering Group. The role is to provide on site support and service to Updatafs customers in the region for all as-pects of WAN and LAN infrastructure and supporting services.
The ideal candidate will be a dy-namic, confident professional with excellent customer skills.
Responsibilities:
. Providing 1st and 2nd level support to our customer base in the Southeast of England
. Managing 3rd party suppliers and partners in deployment and service delivery
. Be key point of contact for all service and support related issues
. Work closely with our HQ Technical and Service teams to deliver excellent levels of ser-vice
. Adhere to strict Service Level Agreements for Incidents and Service Requests
. Deployment of complex network solutions
. Technical Documentation and work instructions
. Technical approval and/or implementation of Change Controls
. Work with BT (and other providers) during provisioning & maint
Required skills/experience:
?
A minimum of Cisco CCNA qualification (or equivalent experience)
Experience of Routing Protocols incl. BGP, OSPF
Extensive experience with TCP/IP protocols
In depth knowledge of Ethernet/L2 switching
Experience of WAN/LAN infrastructure support
