SAP BO universe designer and report developer (m/f) -
Beschreibung:
Our Candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Business Objects reports, universe design and also strong experience with SQL Server. Responsible to support ongoing maintenance of existing report and universe suite as well as new report development.
Responsibilities
Report Support and Development
Provide ongoing support of existing report suite and universes by addressing bugs or enhancement requests
Develop and customize, where applicable, Business Objects reports and universes
Troubleshoot and tune performance of Business Objects Reports
Explore alternate ways for adhoc requests, understanding the Reinsurance data landscape and effectively pulling the relevant information together and presenting in a concise form to the requestors
Development of scripts and/or jobs to allow extraction of data from database directly on SQL Server management studio
Requirements gathering and documentation
Work with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements towards reporting and data
Document requirements and data needs appropriately
Prepare and possibly deliver training on the Business Objects tools & data
Skills:
2+ years of Experience on BusinessObjects (XI and WebIntelligence) universe design, report development and administration
2+ years of Reinsurance industry experience, with a good understanding of the terminology, business functions and processes.
Profound experience in client-facing project engagements (2+ years).
Experience working with and building relationships with internal stakeholders.
Experience working with technology staff.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal relationship, team-building, collaboration and facilitation skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Personal time management skills and ability to meet individual and team deadlines.

Solid knowledge with the following tools: MS Office Suite, MS Sharepoint, Team Foudation Server
Solid knowledge on relational databases, MS SQL Server and data modelling/business intelligence
Preferred:
Strong SQL Server query writing skills
Experience on other BI tools, ideally Tableau
Knowledge of Agile development methodology
Working experience of Microsoft-based infrastructure (SSRS, SSIS)
Working experience in: Advanced SQL,ASP.NET/ASP, VB.NET/VB, ADO.NET, JavaScript, VBScript, C#, XML, XSL, XPath, DHTML, CSS, HTML
Solid knowledge on the following tools: MS Dynamics, MS Visio, MS Access
