Introduction

The sector Twinscan Factory is responsible for the production of lithographic (XT & NXT) systems. The Production Engineering department within this sector maintains and optimizes the production and installation processes in order to realize Cycle Time reduction.

Job Mission

Maintain and improve the work preparation for Volume Products and effectively and efficiently manage Cycle Time reduction on production process (B7), tooling (B4) and design (B8; in co-operation with D&E).

Job Description

maintain & improve the Capacity Requirement Planning model for Production Engineering;
systematically analyze processes and maintain quantitative models of processes based on actual analysis and measurement in the process;
identify and communicate areas of improvement (on request and on own initiative);
translate improvement targets for manufacturing processes ( norms ) to engineering targets;
be a critical and supportive coach for Production Engineering Staff members;
compose improvement proposals and project proposals;
support decisions on investments, improvements, projects by delivering quantitative calculation models and quantitative decision data;
execute improvement projects and initiatives in close cooperation with directors, group leaders and engineers;
create management reports;
contribute to Production Engineering policies.

Education

Education on M.Sc. level, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with Systems Engineering (for example from the TU/e)

Experience

- 1 to 5 years of working experience as business analyst, management support and/or industrial engineering; - knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, Flow.
