Description
- Manage GMP between international and domestic Contract Manufacturing Organizations.
- Interface with international and domestic transportation freight forwarders, airlines and ground carriers.
- Field on and off hour questions and calls from transportation unites for critical shipments.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Logistics/ Transportation Management.
- IATA certification preferred.
- Pharmaceutical logistics experience
- Understanding of cGMP's and pharmaceutical industry procedures and regulations.
- Well versed in customs clearance documentation and procedures.
- Thorough understanding of Harmonized Tariff Code table and usage.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills plus the ability to think laterally while also offering creative solutions.
- Flexibility and the ability to manage change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Negotiation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work logically and systematically, with good time management.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid organizational, time management and project management skills.
