FEA stress engineer required for role in GloucesterA real opportunity to make a difference within an expanding Offshore Engineering Design office.
You will be part of a team focussed on providing high quality Engineering Analysis, across a broad range of industries from marine to aerospace.
The results of your analysis will influence product design and development.
To be successfully considered for interview selection you must have the required skill sets and experience in the following areas…
- FEA & Stress analysis - at least 2 years in analytical experience
- In depth knowledge of FEA techniques
- Advanced user of either of the following: Nastran, Abaqus and Ansys
- 2D and 3D CAD (ideally AutoCAD and I-DEAS)
- Experience of Steel fabrications and mechanisms
- A degree in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline
Salary will start from £30,000 - £40,000 will be negotiable depending on candidates' experience.
