IT Trade Support Analyst - Investment BankingSalary: 40-55K + Benefits + Bonus
Location: London City
A growing global investment bank is looking to hire a Trade Support Analyst to join their IT operations front office team. The team supports all hardware issues and market data applications for the trading environment, with end-user and remote support globally. The role involves troubleshooting day to day issues, whilst ensuring ITIL standard processes are followed appropriately.
Skills required include:
- Trade floor/Front office IT support experience (Ideally Investment Banking)
- Hardware (HP/ Blades/ Blackberry's/HP & Compaq Laptops)
- Experience with a Wide range of Market Data Applications (Reuters/ Bloomberg/ Sonaris/ Fidessa/ TOMS/ Market Axess etc)
- Ideally, but not essential, have worked with a selection of: Broker Screens; GFI, Tullets, Traditions, BGC, ICAP, BARX, Numerix, Calypso, Tradebrook, WebICE, Exodus, Fidessa, Realtick, Autobahn, Cscreen
- Windows OS and Messaging/Outlook
Experience supporting a trade floor is important, advising and handling issues within a pressurised fast paced environment. This is the perfect opportunity for a Trade Support Analyst with little options for progressing in the long term with an Investment Banking background to join a rapidly growing bank with real career progression potential. There will also be the opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects, eg Windows 7 rollouts and disaster recovery improvements.
A strong analytical approach will be required to maximise efficiency and also help to improve the IT infrastructure. Therefore the candidate will be a self starter, be task orientated with attention to detail and possess excellent communication skills as well as technical knowledge.
