Senior Algorithmic Trading Developer - C++ - Prop. Trader based in Sydney

Based in the middle of the Sydney CBD, this global leader in high frequency trading are looking to bolster their ranks with a phenomenal Senior Server Side Strategy Developer.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with traders & quant's to determine requirements and implementing trading strategies
  • Develop and enhance the trading system frameworks used to implement strategies
  • Test and deploy trading systems.
  • Develop and enhance our global option market making platform including local customisation for the Asian markets
  • Develop Server Side strategies in C++ for derivatives trading including automated market making, market taking, auto-hedging, pairs trading, combo & spread trading etc.
  • Investigate and apply technologies to optimise strategies, performance and achieve lowest possible latency
  • Develop low latency in-process native feed handlers for strategies

This is an environment free from the bureaucracies of many organisations where people feel liberated in their ability to get things done.

  • Very strong C++ on Linux
  • Python an advantage
  • STL, Boost
  • Experience with performance and Latency optimisation
