Description
My client is a high profile property development company with a major project now under way in Central London. Due to continual expansion they require an Internal Auditor to join them for a three month contract.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Provision of an independent assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of operational management and control processes
Reliable and balanced audit opinions that take full account of the costs, benefits and business value of the proposed controls
Contribution to the development of the Internal Audit function and associated policies and procedures
To contribute to the continuous improvement of control processes so that they operate at maximum effectiveness and cost efficiency
To conduct investigations into the causes of any significant control failures or fraudulent activity that may occur
The successful candidate will be an auditor who is a Qualified Accountant with a track record of working in the construction sector.
If you have experience of Sage it would also be highly advantageous.
