MEDIA/PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN
6 MONTH CONTRACT
MEDIA TECHNICIAN required to work with a WORLD-LEADING PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY on a contract basis. The successful individual will be responsible for the operation of appropriate process plant and equipment and the manufacture of sterile media for FMD vaccine, fully respecting GMP, biosecurity and HSE standards.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- GMP training would be advantageous
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience of operating industrial scale sterile manufacturing plant is desirable
- Strong IT skills would also be advantageous
- MUST HOLD A FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Manufacture media and other process reagents to GMP, HSE, disease security and quality assurance standards.
- Operate and maintain process plant and equipment
- Perform laboratory tests at various stages of the Media production process and Record findings
- Observe and accurately record readings
- Maintain the laboratory cleanliness
