To keep up with our enormous growth, we are looking for a Senior Engineer Virtualization & Storage
to strengthen our Hosting Department in Amsterdam. The LeaseWeb infrastructure consist of VMWare ESX hypervisors, vSphere 5.1 HA and IBM, HP, Dell and Nexanta storage solutions. Our systems are spread over several locations in the Netherlands, Germany and

at LeaseWeb!Core responsibilities: Together with your colleagues you are responsible for the worldwide VMWare and Enterprise SAN Storage platforms of LeaseWeb Responsible for all duties that ensure maximum availability and stability of our services
Improve existing procedures and techniques and have a say in any improvement that is eventually implemented Report on key performance indicators for storage and virtualization platforms (performance, availability, capacity utilization) Monitor, fine-tune
and design of LeaseWeb´s managed storage and cloud hosting platforms Implement modifications through change management Responsible for the supervision and coaching of your colleagues and the coordination of the daily activities Replace the team manager
when necessary Be part of the management work schedules of HOSD, including being assigned as the Engineer On Duty on a regular baseRequirements: Bachelor level with minimum 5 years of experience as a VMWare and Storage Engineer in a complex IT
environment Extensive knowledge of storage systems (SAN) (e.g. NetApp, IBM N-Series, Nexenta, HP-3PAR, Compellent) preferably supplemented with certificates obtained in relevant fields, or willing to obtain such certificates Extensive knowledge of
vSphere ( 4 & 5) and virtualization hypervisors based on VMWare ESX. Preferably supplemented with relevant certification (VCP5), or willing to obtain such certification Knowledge of different Linux operating systems, such as Ubuntu, Debian and CentOS
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, preferably completed with relevant MSITP certification Experience with composing monthly reports and performance dashboards Good command of written and spoken English Experience with supervising and coaching
