Based in Buckinghamshire, our client is seeking a Contract Hardware Engineer, responsible for design, validation and testing of analogue and digital products based on ADC devices. The contract is initially scheduled for 4 months, however this is likely to extend. The role will require experience with analogue to digital converters, high speed digital design, DDR, high speed interfaces and ideally some experience of FPGA design and developing Xilinx FPGAs. Key Skills:
Analog skills - 500 MSPS 16-bit ADC
Practical measurement skills for assessing analog converter performance
Experience of analog to digital converters
Knowledge of high speed electronic digital design
Knowledge of switch mode power supply design
Knowledge of FPGA development (prefer Xilinx and VHDL)
High speed (>800MHz DDR) memory interfaces
Mentor design tools knowledge (DxDesigner & Expedition PCB) useful
