Description

Steer are looking for a full-time teacher to join us in our quest to teach London how to code.

We're based in a studio space in Clerkenwell, London, a stones' throw from Farringdon Station. Your primary job role would be joining our teaching team in teaching and assisting our students, improving course material and resources, and creating projects for beginner programmers. Our courses have got great feedback but we're always looking to improve the quality. We run a collaborative environment so you'll get to contribute to Steer on every level.

We're looking for someone who has expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript and that can explain complex concepts in a clear and simple manner. Previous teaching or training experience would be highly desired but isn't required, and you'd need to be able to handle any question our students might throw at you.

When you're teaching a course, hours are 9.30am - 5.30pm (the class runs 10am - 5.30pm). During non-course weeks, we have flexible hours and roll with a more results orientated environment. Perks include a new computer setup to your specifications and unlimited holiday. We pay a very competitive salary and you'll be able to attend any of our courses for free, such as our Rails course.
