FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR A GRADUATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO WORK IN CAMBRIDGE!!!!!!Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to work in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire on a permanent basis. My client, a global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of digital radios, infrastructure and applications, is ideally looking for a Graduate Software Engineer with around 12 months commercial experience. The client is looking for a recent graduate who is familiar with C++, Windows, Unix, Java, Perl and Bash. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing intranet systems, development of automated systems, implementing and improving build systems and system administration of development tools. Therefore the client is looking for the following candidate profile:
Essential:
- Recent graduate with ideally 12 months commercial experience
- Confident with C++ programming
- Familiar with both Windows and Unix systems
- Scripting experience with Perl and Bash
- Experience with the development of intranet
Desirable:
- Knowledge of build systems
- Automated Unit Testing
- Perforce
- Bug tracking systems
