Tier one bank seeks infrastructure solutions architect for exciting contract role based inBarnsley. You will be an experienced solutions architect, preferably with experience of the financial services sector and have a broad knowledge of different operating systems and databases.Barnsley- £400-£450 per day - Infrastructure - Banking
Key responsibilities of solutions architect:
- Definition and implementation of project based infrastructure solutions
- Carry out feasibility studies to deliver different technical options
- Use defined architectural artefacts to formulate architectural solutions
- Production of architecture documentation and presentations
- Work closely with domain teams to provide leadership and implement solutions
We are looking for a solutions architect with a knowledge of as many of these technologies as possible:
- Linux, Solaris, AIX and Windows operating systems
- Oracle, SQL and DB2 databases
- Virtualisation through VMWARE
- INTEL architecture
- Middleware products- WAS, WMQ and HIS
- Hardware security modules and security encryption
- Networking
