Server Specialists
We are looking Server Specialists to work for our client located in Capital area or Salo. We are looking for 3 candidates with 4-6 years of experience. The work starts in the beginning of September. The duration of the project will be clarified later on. 100% allocation is required. Below please find the requirements and further information on tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Ensures shift turnover is handled for long running issues in collaboration with the shift lead
- Ensures shift turnover is handled for long running issues in collaboration with the Pool Lead
- Responsible for resolving the technical issue in project
- Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA
- Understanding of Multi-geo support environment
- Provide support on critical and complex tasks
- Ability to perform RCA (Root cause Analysis)
- Perform On call Support
Technical Requirements:
Strong knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 & Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 including Active Directory.
Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing, Network Load Balancing
Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools
Monitor the network link between the sites and DCs & Review the Active Directory response time reports.
Review the domain controller disk space reports,
Review all performance related reports.
Resolve alerts indicating the following services are not running: FRS, Net Logon, KDC, W32Time, and ISMSERV.
Expertise in Microsoft Cluster services.
Installing, configuring and maintaining Win2K, Win2K3 and Win2K8 Servers
Excellent Knowledge of RAID, Disk and Related utilities.
Proficient in Microsoft OS In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS structure
Strong Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and troubleshooting skills;
Strong in File and Print Server Management; Knowledge in Windows Security; experienced in Antivirus products Proficient in doing Recovery of AD Domain Controllers, DNS, WINS, DHCP Servers In-Depth knowledge of Domain Controllers replication configurations
Good Exposure to Group Policies creation, their testing and implementation
Should have good working experience on RAID management and Array controller.
Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing Should have worked with OEM hardware (DELL/HP/IBM), & remote connectivity tools
Should have worked with more than one patching (WSUS & SMS) & antivirus tools
Knowledge of Windows Registry
Good Knowledge on FSMO
Roles assignment in AD environment
Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.
Global exposure would be preferred.

Relevant: 4+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 250 Servers)
Certification requirements:
- MCSE (Essential),
- ITIL (Would be added advantage)
