Description
*Banking/Finance Graduates, finance/numerical/accounting degree-Chester-4 months*
A large financial services client based in Chester require a Banking/Finance Graduate to join their expanding team. The contract will be for 4 months but there may be a possibility that the role may extend. The client is looking for someone who ideally has a numerate degree (maths, finance, banking, accounting,economics,business management etc) of 2:1 or above and is experienced in excel and has excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have previous working experience within a financial services organisation.
Required:
*Excellent organisational skills are required with the ability to prioritise daily workload whilst working accurately under pressure
*Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority
*Proven analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation
*A strong numerical mind set with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
*Previous experience in dealing with internal and external clients
*Ability to rapidly learn and understand new tasks presented and quickly commit to memory in a high volume environment
*Logical approach to problem solving - taking ownership and offering practical solutions
*Ability to identify and deliver process improvements
*Competence in databases, excel (macros, formula's)and outlook
*Flexibility to work outside of core hours (including bank holiday work).
*Flexibility to travel for training if required.
