We have a fantastic opportunity to work for a large Utilities client in Warwick as a Competency Framework Development Lead on a 5 month contract.

Duties:
- Develop up to date guidance and toolkits for managers on "how to develop a competency framework" in line with our Staff Reward Framework approach to competency-based pay progression
- Develop two lists of common competencies reflecting the skills needed at lower and higher levels of the staff population. These competencies should be aligned to the current compensation framework (four steps) from entry to core.
- Work with relevant business representatives to develop competency frameworks for the benchmark roles, in order to provide examples to be used by other managers
- Ensure appropriate Stakeholder engagement in the process, including but not limited to HR Business Partners, process teams, business leaders
- Liaise with Employee Relations to involve the Trade Unions at the joint Role and Competency Review Group in order to reach agreement on the content of the policy documents and guidance
- Liaise with UK Compensation & Benefits to ensure a good fit with the pay framework
- Understand the scale of work required to develop new competency frameworks for all of the new roles, and create revised competency frameworks for existing roles, working with HRBPs to develop and monitor local implementation plans

Essential Skills/Experience:
- Ability to review existing documentation from multiple sources and collate into one up-to-date document
- Experience of HR policy and guidance development
- Ability to work with business leaders to document competency and skill required to successfully deliver the requirements of a particular role, and to differentiate between minimum and ideal requirements in this regard
- Ability to manage and engage multiple Stakeholders across HR and the wider business
